The other main advantage of investing at home is that we live in a very stable country as opposed to other investment areas such as Eastern Europe, North Africa and the Middle East which in terms of development they are still in their infancy and have got a long way to go and present a far greater risk

As property values become more expensive it becomes almost impossible for first time buyers to get a foot on the property ladder. This, in turn, creates a very healthy rental market and should ensure that rented accommodation remains in high demand for the long term.

Property values will continue to grow and demand will continue to outstrip supply because of several factors, i.e,  more and more people are living alone, the divorce rate is rising, people are living longer and immigration is rising rapidly.
